Learn to mosaic

2012 has seen every workshop booked out!  Thanks to all our students both local, interstate and overseas!  It's been fun and a privilege to teach beginners to mosaic art and also share new techniques with experienced mosaic artists.

I hope you are all working away at your mosaic projects, big and small!  I have a project coming up in October which when printed out today, covers the entire floor of our huge family room!  Amazing and very exciting.

I am still working on the online school which will provide my students with lots of information on mosaics from beginner to avanced techniques and projects, with lots of my special tips and tricks included, of course!

I am always updating my mosaic methods and it's so wonderful to see your excitement when you see them first hand at the Mosaic Addict Tuesdays.  I hope to have these Tuesdays and some Sundays up and running again very soon - Mosaicking mum has been unwell lately and she should be back "in class" soon helping us make the fabulous "little mosaic people and more".  Thanks to all who have shown such support for mum with cards, phone calls, emails and visits.  It means so much to the whole family.

Lots of magic pink mosaic light has been filtering into the hospital and I wave the old Starlight wand regularly!  Lots of prayers and kind words seem to work their own special healing, don't they?

My kiln will be "dusted off" next week and lots of new batches of Mosaic Meltdowns will be revealed, I have some great new ideas to try, just need more time!

Looking forward to seeing you all again soon, new workshops will be available soon, once I clear the workbenches of some very exciting commissions!

That's all for now, Cheers, from "The Lady with the Leps"!

ps I have a great new way to store "mosaic cuttings" and "offcuts".  Coming soon!
Have a happy mosaic day,
Sandy...and Dave.
