Mosaic by Sandy Robertson using white china plates, yellow china, golden edges - on pre-hung cement sheeting.
Adhesive? Laticrete Rapid Thinset, of Course!
Idea: Pay $1 to sign the wings for fundraiser. I will report back.
Otherwise, if "Josephina" does not join the other mosaics installed at The Wesley Hospital, Brisbane, I will bring her home to hang in my garden. It was fun to make Josephine with my friend Maureen today. Lots of work, but we work well together. Thanks Maureen (aka Popette!).
Keep you old plates, doesn't matter when making cockatoos re plate colour, as we use the back for the feathers etc. Love the rims.
