Recently, Sandy surprised a close friend with stunning glass leaves, made from champagne bottles of special girlfriend moments over the last 30 years. The leaves reside in a very special treasure case - a unique and unusual gift for someone very special. Sandy combines her imagination with mosaic skills and flair to bring exciting tesserae and glass mosaics to her students, customers and clients.

.... I love my Greenery collection of fine art glass tesserae, which I will use in future mosaics.
It's always very exciting to see what pops out of my kiln, I am testing lots of firing schedules and combinations of glass. It's my other passion besides mosaics! It's just a glass sideline at the moment but I hope to sell these beauties and for now they are so lovely to look at. Everyone who has held them loves them.
