January 2012 finds me working on the 6 mosaic panels for a mosaic commission in Brisbane to be installed end of February 2012.

This shows pre-grouting in progress to guage grout colour in different sections of the mosaic mural.
Video clips showing the making and grouting of each mural panel will be uploaded to MOSI in due course for OzMosaics students.

This mosaic by Sandy Robertson shows a mix of tesserae: china, plates, Dynasty Smalti, stone border tiles. The cutting, slicing and dicing of the china, how to place, how to get particular cuts easily and many more tips and tricks are in the video clips and mosaic info modules coming to MOSI(Mosaic Online School International). MOSI will give more to mosaic students than ever before.
