Browse the workshop menu items and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss any aspect of the workshop.
Select your workshop (start with Mosaic Workshop A if you haven't done a workshop with Sandy.
1.If you haven't used the mosaic on fibreglass mesh method, book into Workshop A. Workshop A is good for mosaic enthusiasts who are self-taught and wish to learn from a professional mosaicist or update skills. Note, working with china and 3-D is in Workshop B only and you need to do workshop A first. Not sure? Please phone us for a friendly chat.
A good self mosaic-assessment is:
Are you experienced with the mosaic mesh method, preparing substrates, selecting grout colour, cutting techniques, cement-based adhesives and thinset (cement-based adhesive)?
If you answer "no" to these questions, you will enjoy and benefit greatly from Workshop A for starters.
2.Perhaps ask a friend to enjoy a workshop with you? It's fun to share mosaics.
3.Email or phone Dave to confirm availability of the mosaic workshop/s you have selected.
4.Pay your $50 deposit, which holds your place in the class. If you wish to pay in full you may do so at booking time. - Pay by cash/chq/eftpos or via phone using c/card. - If paying by phone, please have your c/card handy. - Balance of workshop is due at your workshop.
5.Order mosaic safety glassesand pay for them when you book in, + $5.00
6.Your receipt will be waiting for you at the workshop.
7.If you have a gift certificate for OzMosaics, please quote the details to Dave at booking time.
8.You may order mosaic supplies before your workshop, Dave will have them ready and waiting - this same save you time on the day.
9.All mosaic tools are supplied for each student to use during the workshop, you do not need to bring any tools or purchase any tools to complete your workshop. We have everything you need if you wish to shop at our Studio shop on the day or you are welcome to come back, by appointment and shop.
