Liz & Friends - a group of artists who help Liz Heber raise funds for The Wesley Hospital, Palliative Care Unit!
After the successful inaugural Liz & Friends Art Show at The Wesley Hospital in 2010, an enthusiastic group of artists once again presented their art for sale to help with the fundraising efforts!

The staff, volunteers, and visitors to the Art Show helped make this event a huge success.  Many new friendships were forged and thanks to everyone who purchased artworks at this very special event!

OzMosaics put together a mosaic marathon running from the Wednesday art show opening until close at lunchtime on the Saturday.  Many people helped make the mosaic mural and we visited the patients, who glued down tiles to the mosaic made on fibreglass mesh. 

The Opening Night Cocktail Party was wonderful and the auction was in full swing, plus great raffle prizes!  Liz Heber, generous as usual, donated one of her magnificent artworks for the auction and someone received a fantastic work of art!

OzMosaics donated a mosaic table, which will be used to raise funds for the Palliative Care Unit and a mosaic workshop in the raffle.  Sandy Robertson and her merry group of mosaic addicts, who meet at OzMosaics, most Tuesdays, helped make mosaic Christmas Decorations which were so popular!  Lots of mosaic Christmas trees, Christmas Candles, Christmas Angels etc were tied to the Christmas Tree and sold so well!  Thanks to Sandy's helpers!
