Artist of the month! Will it be you? Exciting fun times ahead in the HUB! Not long now.........The Mosaic HUB will have it's own home on the site, with access to registered members and my students. It will be non-stop mosaic matters and natters - A place to keep it altogether as we break it up! We will still have Face Book as a resource, but the mosaic HUB will be like no other! A place to share our works in progress, our lives that revolve around mosaics.... things that matter to us, so I guess it's not Strictly Ballroom! It's Mosaics with other things stuck in. The format is great, I can't want to unlock the doors to the mosaic addicts of this world.
The Mosaic Online School International will guest tutors and I already have a wonderful person lined up to co-host much of the school with me! It's going to be so good! MOSI means mosaic business - the business of getting beginners in remote areas up and running online and others who need more after travelling to and fro from hands on workshops. MOSI will cost to belong, but all good things do and it will pay you back over and over with resources, assistance and well, the rest is a secret for now!
A place to regularly interact with everyone who loves mosaics! The hub is dedicated to mosaics! Connect with friends and others who are stuck on mosaics. A place for cravers of all things mosaic!

Yes, many of us are addicted to mosaics. Whilst the word addiction often causes an uneasy feeling, Mosaic Addiction is great! It's a great form of stress therapy and knowing this, OzMosaics are introducint the Mosaic HUB!
This is one addiction we don't want to stop!
The main thing we need is a place to share the mosaic addiction, and the HUB is a haven for us to share our passion for mosaics online. If you mosaic habit has taken over, we members are here to listen, help and we understand We understand the need to hunt and gather unsual things to chop up or glue down, cover or gloat over! If you long to spend time in thrift shops, garage sales, second hand stores, dollar shops and the dump (yes dumpster diving is cool!) then this is the HUB for you
Mixing found objects, recyling and reusing items is a very GREEN thing to do! A combination of these items with beautiful glass, smalti and many other materials, results with breath-taking, exciting mosaics. It's not what you use, but what you do with it. Only an art snob could not see past their nose!
Recovery from mosaic addiction is a life time process, which is wonderful!

A retreat creates a special period of time for smashing tile, breaking bottles, spreading thinset, watching mosaic slide shows, learning new techniques, making glass fusings in Sandys' kiln and having lots of fun! Swim in our pool, relax on the deck, shop in the city, visit the junk stores and markets in Brisbane!
We can help getting addicted to something, gardening, golf, reading, cooking.....just make sure with your mosaic addiction you allow time to chat to your partners, families and friends or find friends who love mosaics too - here at the HUB! You can get a balance, but do you really want to LOL!
