This video clip shows the Australia Zoo - Steve Irwin Day - Mosaic Zebra work in progress!
So many children and family, overseas visitors helped Team OzMosaics and Volunteers to make the mosaic zebra.
Many put down one tile, many stayed a while! Every tile is special and thanks to everyone who helped in the making the mosaic zebra.
The zebra mosaic is now back at OzMosaics studio in Brisbane and will be completed as soon as possible.
Duncan Abbots worked with the children and helped them cut and glue many pieces down as did his wife Jan, Maureen Randolph, Shirley Whitton, Australia Zoo Volunteer Darrell, Laticrete team members and many Australia Zoo staff members.
The black Dynasty smalti looks great with the white ceramic tiles! Mirror, beaded fringing and more special effects will be added by Team OzMosaics Australia!
