A fantastic day at OzMosaics for a Melbourne Cup lunch, smash, nip, tip and sip! Well the sipping was good with all the champagne! We will be sipping for a while on Mosaic Addict Days! Thanks girls! The sausage sizzle was delicious, the aroma of the onions cooking away caused lots of mouth watering as we made more Christmas Decorations and mosaic cupcakes for the Wesley Hospital Liz & Friends Art Show 2011 - Bookmark the date : Opening NIght Wed 16 November until Sat 19th September, check Wesley Hospital website for more info or phone/email OzMosaics.
Enjoying lunch on our Queenslander Deck! Some of our mosaic addicts group were able to attend on Tuesday and enjoy a sausage sizzle , chickens, delicious salads and of course, chocolate! Janet is such fun! Happy to be together.Mosaicking Mum aka Shirley, Sandy's Mum wore a big pink flower. Janet's hat was gorgeous! Orange juice, champers and berries made for some giggles....just a few.Nles were hurt during Melbourne Cup day. Just gentle nipping. Pink bubbles with juice and berries. Berry, berry good. I had to work out the sweep, thank Goodness for Jan Abbots and Keli! Dad was busy packing smalti to go to England - couriers were on their way.
Working off some calories! Fun and very caring, kind ladies helped me make mosaic cupcakes for the upcoming art show.
Marshmallows coated in chocolate, yes please! Would the real glue please stand up! I think a few of the concrete cupcakes were coated in dip and chips! LOL!
Dave & Duncan were brave enough to be there with the Ladies!
We watched the race and cheered and danced on the spot - always exciting and this year it was so close! I picked the winner! Just lucky!
We had a sweep and I won first place, Alison and Mum as well. Thanks girls for participating!
This cupcake was decorated with dip and chips and funnily enough, I really had to scrub hard to get it off a day later!
hmmm. makes you wonder have we discovered the next form of glue?
